Corporate Overview
WPC Resources Inc. is a Vancouver-based gold company focused on exploring and developing mineral projects located in the northern territory of Nunavut, Canada.
The Company has signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% ownership of the historic Lupin Gold Mine and Ulu Property. Furthermore, WPC acquired the 8,000 hectares Hood River Property, which is contiguous on three sides to the Ulu Property.
At the Lupin Gold Mine, located approximately 400 kilometres north of Yellowknife, the Company focus is on identifying near-term production potential by drilling known near surface targets.
Historically, the Lupin Gold Mine produced over 3.3 million ounces of gold prior to closure in 2004. All infrastructure has been well maintained and all required permits remain in place at the Lupin Gold Mine.
At the Ulu Property, located 123 kilometres north of Lupin, WPC is focused on growing the existing mineral resource. The Ulu Property is fully permitted and ready for further exploration.
The Hood River Property is the Company’s earliest stage and least explored property. WPC plans additional mapping and surveying to identify and define targets for future drill testing. The Hood River Property together with Ulu affords substantial exploration potential on confirmed known gold occurrences.
The Company trades on the TSX-Venture Exchange under the symbol, WPQ, and has 98,900,304 common shares currently issued and outstanding.
